As a teenager, I started a lifelong passion of learning how to play several musical instruments. Along with my primary instrument - guitar, I play drums, piano and I perform most of the vocals on many of my recordings.
I studied Music Production &
Engineering at Berklee College of Music
in Boston and, after graduation, I moved
to California in the late 90's. There I
began working as a guitarist and vocalist, and used my engineering knowledge to great effect by recording tracks for music legends Mickey Rooney, Ray Brown and Barry Manilow. I have also offered my time to write and record personalized songs for ill children and my current focus is on combining my musical and technical abilities on several projects where I act as songwriter, composer, producer, music supervisor and/or instrumentalist.
Through years of recording on “both sides of the glass,” I have become knowledgeable of both the musical AND technical aspects of creating music, and so I am never limited to the kind of work I can be involved in. I enjoy creating a finished product for others to enjoy. No matter what technical or musical needs a project requires, I'm equipped and happy to be a part of it.
This approach to my craft definitely keeps me busy with many projects all at once. If I'm not in the studio, adding to someone else's project, I'm creating one of my own...
Outside of music, I'm happily married to my wife, and I LOVE being a stay-at-home father to my two kids whenever I can...
